Description

The Chrome Tellurium II clock reproduces the annual orbit of the earth around the sun, with the earth rotating around its own axis once in 24 hours. The moon, in turn, revoles around the earth in 29.5 days completing a full rotation around its axis. This allows the reproduction of the different moon phases as they are visible from the earth. In the course of one year, the earth passes al 12 zodiac signs, months and individual dayswhich are indicated on the flat disc.
The 8 day movement is spring wound with 4/4 Westminster chime on 4 polished bells. 11 jewelled escapement.
The dial has an engraved centre and a seperate seconds ring.
The top is a solid brass disc which is engraved Zodiac signs, rosettes , months and days of the year.
The Tellurium has models of of the sun, earth and moon, it incorporates a day/month indicator.
Each model is individualy numbered.
